Video/Interactives

Video

Videos combine multiple communication mediums to present complex concepts in a way that is engaging, easily digestible, and memorable. I co-wrote, edited, and animated the video below.

Interactives

Interactive visualizations transform data into a dynamic experience, allowing users to actively participate in exploring, understanding, and deriving insights from complex information. I created this series of interactives to help people better understand workforce conditions in the Louisville region.

Visualizing 170 Years of Louisville Employment History

This project used IPUMS data to trace the industrial history of Louisville. I then turned that data into an interactive visualization.

Visualizing Louisville Earnings Levels by Age Group

This project also used IPUMS data to look at median earnings by age.

Household Income Distribution in Louisville Visualized as 100 homes

Another IPUMS project, this time with some demographic information about individuals in each income bracket.

Labor Market Snapshots

These were a series of interactives that I researched and designed to provide labor market information in an accessible manner for a variety of occupations in the Louisville region.
